It Happens Campaign

Sponsored in the San Ramon Valley by State Farm

“It Happens,” is a two-day high school campaign of the Street Smarts Program, teaches high school students safe driving habits and encourages students to walk, bike, carpool, and take transit to school.

    1. The first day consists of lunchtime activities about driving safety (a crashed car on display, walking a line with vision-impaired goggles, a prize wheel with trivia questions, and other hands-on games).
  1. After the driving safety day, “It Happens” hosts a Bike/Walk to School Day that rewards participating students with prizes.
