Join “Safety Sam” and “Safety Dan” and Walk with Street Smarts in the Kiwanis 4th of July Parade!

We invite you to join Street Smarts and walking with “Safety Sam” and “Safety Dan” in the Annual 2019 Kiwanis 4th of July Parade in Danville. The parade route is approximately 1.25 miles.

Families are welcome! (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

Please have children wear a bright colored t-shirt.  We will meet in the staging area located at the San Ramon Valley High School parking lot in front of the Performing Arts Center (501 Danville Blvd) by 8:15 am.

At this time, we will review the route and also practice the “Stop, Look, Don’t Forget to Listen” song that students learned at their school’s Street Smarts Assembly this year. We will also ask students to carry small signs about pedestrian safety. All participating students will be given a participation prize to wear in the parade.

Please sign up through the “RSVP” button located on this link Street Smarts 4th of July with the number of adults and children, who will be participating. We are looking forward to your family’s participation!

Please register by Sunday, June 23, 2019.

NOTE: We will not have bicycles participating this year. We will all be pedestrians walking in the parade. (Strollers are welcome.)

Please call Mark Ballock at 925-973-2595 or email mballock@sanramon.ca.gov with any questions.

Thank you for supporting Street Smarts!
