NOTICE: With the return of Street Smarts “onsite” assemblies, we will conclude the online program for the 2021/2022 school year. Entry for December closes on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

Cumulative prizes will be distributed in the next couple of weeks. A date will be posted and emailed to those students who are eligible for prizes.

WATCH FUN AND EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS, COMPLETE FUN PUZZLES, AND ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR A CHANCE TO WIN PRIZES!

SUBMIT AN ENTRY EVERY WEEK (usually 3 weeks are offered) IN THAT SPECIFIC MONTH AND ACCUMULATE A NEW PRIZE! 

The monthly contest offers K – 8th grade students the opportunity to learn about Traffic Safety Education through short interactive and entertaining online bike and pedestrian themes.

Monthly Contest will include:

•             Viewing two 60 second bike and/or pedestrian videos created by local middle and high school students

•             Completing a puzzle

•             Answering safety questions

Students have the whole month to complete the weekly tasks to be eligible to enter to win a $30 gift card from local business in the San Ramon Valley!

Submit an entry every week in that specific month and accumulate a new prize! Prizes will be distributed to the attending school in the spring. (Date and delivery location will be confirmed at a later date.)

At the end of each month, two students will be randomly chosen to win exciting gift cards. Winners will be notified through email.

Contest Guidelines

  • All students located in the San Ramon Valley (living in Alamo, Danville and San Ramon) in grades K – 8 are invited to participate.
  • Students will view two 60 second bike and pedestrian videos created by local middle and high school students.
  • Students will complete a fun puzzle – one each for elementary and middle school students. (Students are welcome to complete both.)
  • TO ENTER, students will click on the SUBMIT ENTRY button to answer the questions about the videos.
  • Students will enter ONCE A WEEK for entry into the monthly drawing.
  • Students are encouraged to complete the tasks and enter every week.
  • To be considered for the monthly drawing, all weekly entries must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on a designated Friday noted on the weekly page.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Specific due dates are noted on the weekly activity page of each month.
  • At the end of each month, two students from both elementary and middle school student’s combined entries, will be randomly chosen to win exciting gift cards. Winners will be notified through email.
  • Winner will be notified through email the following week.
  • New videos and puzzles will be posted every Monday by 4:00 P.M.

NOTE: Entering weekly does not guarantee winning a $30 gift card. However, it increases the student’s chance of randomly being selected. Rules and Guidelines can be changed by San Ramon Valley Street Smarts.
