Bike Rodeos

Street Smarts First Annual Community Bike Festival will be announced early next year.

Visit this webpage and also the Events tab for updated information.

It will be a fun-filled day for the whole family!

(This event will be in lieu of individual school rodeos for the 2020/21 school year.)

Bike rodeos are an opportunity for children to learn about the safety aspects of riding a bicycle in a safe, controlled, hands-on environment.  Bike rodeos are oftentimes a child’s only opportunity to learn the rules of the road, have their helmet properly checked and practice riding their bike in a supervised bicycle course.  All students at the school are encouraged to bike to school on the day of the event. The bike rodeo takes place after school on the school blacktop and typically lasts one hour.

Children must bring a bike or scooter and their helmet with them!
