Bike rodeos are an opportunity for children to learn about the safety aspects of riding a bicycle in a safe, controlled, hands-on environment.\u00a0 Bike rodeos are oftentimes a child\u2019s only opportunity to learn the rules of the road, have their helmet properly checked and practice riding their bike in a supervised bicycle course.\u00a0 All students at the school are encouraged to bike to school on the day of the event.\u00a0The bike rodeo takes place after school on the school blacktop and typically lasts one hour.<\/p>\n
